WELCOME TO THE INTERIOR OF BEIRA ALTA
The Casa da Câmara is a historic 18th-century building that served as the seat of the municipality of Carvalhal de Mouraz until its abolition in 1836.
In 2001, already in ruins but with its main façade intact, it was classified as a building of municipal interest. It was subsequently rebuilt and converted into a tourist accommodation, preserving the original façade as a testament to local history and the former administrative organization of Portugal, and now offers cozy tourist accommodation.
This space, set in a peaceful and welcoming setting, is ideal for those seeking tranquility, combining charm with comfort. The house offers:
Three suites with double beds and one suite with two single beds, accommodating up to eight people, with the option of requesting an extra bed for four.
All rooms have air conditioning, central heating, and Wi-Fi.
Continental breakfast, served between 8:00 and 10:00 in the lounge. Includes regional products such as bread, cheese, jams, pastries, and seasonal fruit.
There is also the option of having breakfast outdoors, on the balcony or in the garden.
Lounge with breakfast area and leisure areas equipped with comfortable sofas, fireplace, TV, books, card games, and board games.

From April to September, the house can be rented by a group on an exclusive basis, with use of the entire accommodation, summer kitchen, swimming pool, and garden, for a maximum of 8 people. As this is rural tourism, the house is shared with the host, who lives on the ground floor, with guest accommodation on the first floor with independent access.
